The symptoms of poor digestion are many as shown below on the Healthy Digestion Pack icon.  Poor Digestion is the leading cause of most all symptoms in other areas also.  We can be consuming all the best foods and supplements available, yet, if we do not have enough stomach acid many minerals will not be broken down to a point of being assimilated by our body.  Or if we do not have the correct balance of good bacteria in our gut the body can not assimilate the nutrition it needs, and we end up with more symptoms which the medical community will put a label on, and then want us to take a mild toxic chemical designed to cover up, relieve the symptom, and the process that caused the symptom goes on until it becomes more severe and on the cycle goes.

Avoid the Dangers of Ibuprofen, Acetaminophen and Aspirin side effects

Pain and Inflammation are common complaints in our society. Turning to drugs can give temporary relief traded for possible permanent damage. Drugs, both over the counter and prescription can slow the healing process, and worsen the situation. While ibuprofen reduces some of a the symptoms, it also blocks healthy production of other substances which protect the gut lining (leading to ulceration & gastrointestinal complaints). Ibuprofen also destroys cartilage in the long run, defeating the purpose. The new line of Cox-2 inhibitors drugs, or the”new ibuprofen”, claimed to have less side effects than ibuprofen, with “less” being the operative word, as evidence of gastrointestinal complaints with these new drugs is pouring in. The bottom line is that drugs relieve symptoms, at the precious cost of side effects, and in the case of ibuprofen, worsening the scenario. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) inhibit the synthesis of cartilage building blocks. Fortunately, there are many natural substances that have powerful anti-inflammatory effects, and some of these nutrients even address the cause, or etiology of the condition.

An important side effect of aspirin and other NSAIDs is that it will inhibit cartilage repair and accelerate the destruction of cartilage (J Rheumatol 1982;9:3-5). This is important to note since aspirin is one of the most commonly prescribed drugs for osteoarthritis, caused by the degeneration of cartilage. NSAIDs may help in the suppression of the symptoms of osteoarthritis, but in the long run they may possibly make the condition worse by preventing the formation of new cartilage and increasing the rate of cartilage destruction. Although NSAIDs are known to relieve joint pain in arthritis, their effect on the long-term degeneration of cartilage tissue is questioned, and they increase the probability of intestinal permeability (“leaky gut”) problems. Adverse effects on aspirin are mainly seen with ulceration of the intestinal lining. Adverse effects of ibuprofen are mainly seen with dysfunction of the kidneys.

Your heart beats 101,000 times a day. During your lifetime it will beat about three billion times and pump about 800 million pints of blood or about one million barrels -that’s enough to fill more than 3 super tankers.

I do hope all is well with you and yours! I do hope all is well, YGY convention is wrapping up 20 YEARS of service to those few who really want better health enough to pay for it in Time, Energy and Money!  Re-Building is always harder, more time consuming, more inconvenient, and more expensive than maintaining along the way, be it a house, a car etc.  Our bodies are the the same.  Remember the old commercial on real butter vs margarine, “ITS not nice to (try) fool mother nature”.  The reality is we’re fooling ourselves and we end up paying the price somewhere down the road, just as in a car starting to have problems and then breaking down along the road.
